this versions of The Dragon Tattoo Trilogy mirrors the energy/tone/cadence found in the books. the american versions are too glossy and superficial.

'The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest' played back beautifully, without issue.
The first release in the series, 'The Girl with Dragon Tattoo' also played without issue. I suspect that your dvd copy is bogus, or experienced a duplication failure.

If anyone out there likes a tightly wound thriller, this is it. I read the book 8 or 9 years ago and the movie closely follows the book. Have fun watching.
